
MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) - The export of Belarusian products to Vladimir Oblast of Russia quadrupled in 2024, Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko said during a joint meeting of the commissions on the budget, taxes and financial market and on economic policy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Vladimir, Russia on 23 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
"In 2024 mutual trade exceeded $480 million, which was 20% more than in 2023. The export of Belarusian products increased by over a quarter. We are ready to move further and expand the supply of goods," she emphasized.
"I hope our interaction in 2025 will be no less dynamic and productive. The Belarusian side is ready to cooperate on the broadest range of matters at all levels," the deputy minister said.
The deputy minister also visited the VALF-RUS plant, a major Russian manufacturer of pipeline products supplied to Belarus and other CIS countries. The parties discussed the potential to establish cooperation with Belarusian enterprises.
