MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Organizations of all types of ownership built about 12,700 apartments in Belarus in January-May 2024. As much as 1,225,300m2 of the total housing area was commissioned, the National Statistics Committee told BelTA.
As much as 383,100m2 of housing was commissioned for citizens in need of better housing or 31.3% of the total amount of housing commissioned.
As much as 246,400m2 of housing was commissioned for citizens on the housing register and eligible for state support.
As much as 457,400m2 of the total housing area was commissioned in rural populated localities or 37.3% of the total amount of housing commissioned across the country.
