The commemorative event was initiated by Secondary School No.28 of Vitebsk. The school has been running Belarus' only exposition dedicated to the end of the siege of Leningrad for three years. It unites the Leningrad siege survivors living in the region and beyond.

Olga Antonenko Belarusians of the World festival to feature around 250 participants
The 4th edition of the Belarusians of the World art festival will feature around 250 participants from various countries. The festival is scheduled for 16-20 September. It will take place in Minsk, but participants will also visit other regions on one day of the event.

The agreement on one more fan zone was reached at a meeting between Belarus' Ambassador to Japan Ruslan Yesin and Noboribetsu Mayor Haruichi Ogasawara. The island of Hokkaido will host the Olympic marathon and race-walking competitions.

“According to the official data provided by Chinese authorities, the pneumonia outbreak caused by a coronavirus first emerged in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province. We are to finish the work on the conceptual design of a new satellite this year and in 2021 we will start creating it. We could make it very fast, but we just do not have to, because the Belarusian satellite is operating well. We believe that we will keep this satellite in orbit till 2024, Vladimir Gusakov said.
