Goaltender Kevin Lalande back with Dinamo Minsk

MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Goalie Kevin Lalande has signed a new contract with HC Dinamo Minsk, BelTA learnt from the HC Dinamo Minsk press service.

The Canadian goaltender has returned to the team he played for in 2011-2014. The player spent the previous season with CSKA Moscow and had a professional tryout contract with the Minnesota Wild (NHL) in summer 2015.

I am really happy to be back in Minsk. A lot has changed in the past few months. When I learned I could continue my playing career in HC Dinamo Minsk, I was really happy. I know many guys on the team quite well. Moreover, my return to the Bisons means I am going to continue playing for the Belarusian national team as long as I play hockey. The two previous world championships as part of the Belarusian team was a great experience for me. I hope I will have an opportunity to play for the team at the future international sport forums, said the goalie.

Kevin Lalande played for the Belarusian national team and the 2014 and 2015 IIHF World Championships.
