Belarusian swimmers win 12 medals at Serbian Open Championships

Aleksandra Gerasimenya of Belarus finished first in the women's 50m freestyle in 25.36 seconds. Second was fellow Belarusian Yulia Khitraya, clocking 26.01 seconds. Aleksandra Gerasimenya was also the first to touch the wall in the women's 50m backstroke (28.14 seconds).
Sasnovich advances in Miami Open qualifying

Belarus' world number 120 Aleksandra Sasnovich got off to a good start at the Miami Open, defeating Bulgaria's world number 141 Elitsa Kostova 6-2, 0-6, 6-2 in the qualifying round one.

Belarus ready to host International Fencing Federation congress

Alexander Shamko thanked the FIE representative for the readiness to consider the proposal of the Belarusian side to hold the 2017 FIE Congress in Minsk in November. He noted that Belarus hosts about 80 international competitions annually, providing the high-level organization for all tournaments.

On his way to the title, the Belarusian athlete defeated a representative of Cote d'Ivoire's 36-16 and routed a German fighter 8-0. In the final Arman Marshall Silla was to face Russia's Yuri Kirichenko, but the opponent had to withdraw due to an injury.
Brest to host SEHA League Final Four

The SEHA League Final Four will take place in Brest, BelTA learned from the executive committee of SEHA Gazprom League. The final of the South East Handball Association tournament will be held in Belarus on 7-9 April. The final will feature Handball Club Meshkov Brest, Telekom Veszprem, Vardar, PPD Zagreb.

Two silver medals for Belarus at FIG World Cup 2017 AGF Trophy in Baku

The Belarusian scored 14,666 points in the Men's TV event to claim silver. Chris Remkes of Australia collected gold with the total of 14,866. Bronze went to Zachari Hrimeche, 14,616 points.
