MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Products under the Made in Belarus trademark are in demand in Russia, Governor of Russia's Vologda Oblast Oleg Kuvshinnikov said in an interview to the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA informs.
On 5 June, Oleg Kuvshinnikov visited the international expo Belagro 2018. “Belarus is a leader in the production of organic, high-quality food products, including meat, potato, dairy products and vegetables. Made in Belarus products find a quick sale in the biggest cities of Russia,” he noted.
Oleg Kuvshinnikov praised the level of the exposition. “This is my first visit to the expo and I am impressed with the variety of farming machinery. This is the equipment of the 21st century, competitive on any market. While in Belarus, I have also visited Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Automobile Plant and Minsk Motor Plant,” the governor said.
During the visit the Russian governor mainly discussed production localization issues. Cherepovets Casting Mechanical Plant plans to double the production of Belarusian tractors. “Machinery is competitive both in price and quality,” Oleg Kuvshinnikov said.
