MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – One thousand Belarusian students will undergo IT internship and training courses at Huawei, Belarus Prime Minister Deputy Anatoly Kalinin told the media on 10 April, BelTA has learned.
OOO Bel Huawei Technologies, the Education Ministry and the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus signed an agreement on cooperation in a ceremony at Minsk Huawei Office on 10 April. “This year Huawei has provided an opportunity to 1,000 Belarusian students to undergo the IT internship and training courses. Ten students have already received an invitation to go to China for trianing,” said Anatoly Kalinin.
Director of OOO Bel Huawei Technologies Pan Yong pointed out that the company pays a lot of attention to teaching talented youth in Belarus. “Our company would like to contribute to the digital transformation and training of new specialists in Belarus as part of our corporate social responsibility initiative,” he said.
During one year the Belarusian students will study the best practices of development of telecommunication technologies at OOO Bel Huwaei Technologies. The young specialists will have an opportunity to upgrade their skills in IT and information security, to get acquainted with the latest trends in the IT development and to see the work of the largest IT labs.
