MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – The construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant proceeds in a satisfactory manner, BelTA learned from representatives of the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant.
The company in charge of operating the future Belarusian nuclear power plant has been asked to comment on new incidents reported by online mass media. In particular, the sources say that two welders were killed by an exploding gas apparatus and a rigger plunged to his death from a height.
In response the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant stated that no fatal accidents or heavy casualties caused by falling from a height were registered at the construction site in 2017.
