MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia increases its Minsk-Kiev-Minsk flights starting from 12 November, BelTA learnt from the air company.
Earlier, Belavia operated two daily flights to Boryspil International Airport and back. A new, third, flight will be offered to Kiev International Airport (Zhuliany).
Thus, passengers will have more opportunities for a comfortable travel to Kiev. Belavia will offer daily flights from Minsk at 23h05 and from Kiev (Zhuliany) at 5h15 local time.
“The early flight from Kiev to Minsk will let passengers, especially businessmen, plan their stay in Belarus rationally. Apart from that, Belavia's flight schedule will allow transit passengers to continue their journey almost across the entire network of the air company,” Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov said.
Belavia is the largest air carrier in Belarus by the number of passengers and cargoes it transports. In January 2014 the Belarusian airline acquired a legal status of an open joint stock company. Belavia operates 27 aircraft, and offers regulars flights to 46 destinations in Europe and Asia. Belavia joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1997 and the European Regions Airline Association (ERAA) in 2010. In January-September 2015 Belavia's passenger traffic increased by 4% over the same period last year.
