MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) - Belarusian books will be displayed at the second Bishkek International Book and Printing Fair, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry of Belarus.
The international book fair dedicated to the Day of the National Literature of the Kyrgyz Republic and the birthday of the great Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov will open in Bishkek on 13 December.
A delegation of Belarusian publishers will present the books published in 2016-2017 by the publishing houses Belarus, Petrus Brovka's Belarusian Encyclopedia, Mastatskaya Literatura and others. The Belarusian publishers are set to take part in the events, hold talks. The national stand will feature the books dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Belarusian printing pioneer Francysk Skaryna and also fiction, local history, children's books and educational literature
