MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – Belarus' State Science and Technology Committee and Israel's Ministry of Science, Technology and Space concluded an agreement on cooperation in science and technology. The document was signed by the heads of the two agencies Alexander Shumilin and Ofir Akunis, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
According to the document, the parties will set up a joint working group on cooperation in science and technology in 2018, will hold a contest of Belarusian-Israeli science and technology projects. The agencies will also prepare proposals for the organization of seminars, conferences and exhibitions.
The Belarusian delegation led by Alexander Shumilin participated in the sixth meeting of the joint Belarusian-Israeli committee for trade and economic cooperation running in Jerusalem 21-22 May. Alexander Shumilin is set to hold talks with the BM Holdings, to meet with representatives of the Israel Innovation Authority and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel.
