MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – Minsk will play hots to the second session of the joint Belarusian-Cuban commission on cooperation in science and technology in 2018, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus.
The agenda of the upcoming event was discussed in a meeting between Chairman of Belarus' State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Juan Valdes Figueroa. The two sides also reviewed the results of the Belarusian-Cuban scientific projects and the results of Belarus' national exposition at the FIHAV Havana International Fair.
The press service also noted that Belarus and Cuba are planning to implement several projects in the priority areas of bilateral cooperation, including in biotechnology, medicine, pharmacy and medical technology.
