The workshop participants will discuss the equal rights of citizens, which is one of the priorities of the Union State, the legislation branches of Russia and Belarus to be harmonized for these purposes, the forms and methods of ensuring equal rights of citizens.
Gennady Zyuganov noted that everything is being done in Belarus to preserve the best traditions of the Soviet school and education through labor. The traditions were represented at the Belarusian exhibition during the World Festival of Youth and Students.
Some high-profile officials are expected to take part in the meeting, among them CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov, Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, and also diplomats, political analysts and experts from the CSTO member states and Serbia.
Sergei Mikhaylov recalled that 2018 was declared the Year of Culture in the CIS. In this context, he offered to draw an interactive map of the CIS cultural sites to be updated with new sites if need be.
The urban services have been instructed to prepare a plan and determine the main areas of work after the visit to the Russian capital as part of the Minsk Days. “Minsk has a lot to learn from Moscow,” said Andrei Shorets.
