The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has debuted at the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk with an exhibition project. The exhibition titled as “Korea the Land of Morning Freshness” opened in the Local Lore Museum on 10 July.
According to the source, the company in charge of running the nuclear power plant contacted Gosatomnadzor in October 2017 in order to obtain the operating license. Experts are now evaluating the safety justification documents.
Oleg Sobolev said: “Belarus is going to welcome an Emergency Preparedness Review mission in October 2018. The country will also welcome several other IAEA missions before the Belarusian nuclear power plant goes online.”
Olga Lugovskaya said: “I think we will put together the action plan within three months. It should be understood that it is also a matter of consultations with the [state enterprise] Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. The recommendations can be implemented in many ways.”
