MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – I want all, even those who did not vote for the current course, to feel confident about the future, President Alexander Lukashenko said when speaking in the inauguration ceremony, BelTA has learned.
The President noted that together we have created a viable, stable state. The country has built a lot of new homes, schools, hospitals, culture centers, sports arenas, roads and other infrastructure, modernized thousands of industrial enterprises and this, the President is confident, will yield results already in this five-year period. The problem of food security was solved in a short period of time. Moreover, the products of Belarusian agricultural industry have become solid export items, Alexander Lukashenko said.
"The potential we have built will enable us to ensure development of the Republic of Belarus, even in a period of global economic turbulence,” Alexander Lukashenko underlined. “It develops the feeling of safety and confidence about the future. Let this confidence be also in those who did not vote for the current course. A different point of view, if its rests on sincere concern about the Motherland, will be always heard. Every smart idea will be used and brought to life,” the head of state said.
Every person in Belarus is under the protection of the law, and hence the President, Alexander Lukashenko added. “This principle is unshakable. There is no other way to make the society consolidated, encourage its creative energy. We will stay committed to these approaches,” he said.
