Lukashenko, Poroshenko discuss economic cooperation, peacekeeping in Ukraine

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko on 23 March, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

The two heads of state discussed the current agenda of the Belarusian-Ukrainian relations, including the trade and economic cooperation and the expansion of interregional contacts.

The two leaders also talked over interaction in the international arena, and also peacekeeping in Ukraine, including Belarus' assistance in the earliest possible resolution of the conflict.
