MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the enthronement anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your creative selfless work focused on spiritual revival, moral upbringing of people, promotion of interreligious dialogue is appreciated by believers and the society,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that the pastoral, enlightenment and charity activities of Patriarch Kirill will help strengthen the authority of the Russian Orthodox Church all over the world. Alexander Lukashenko also wished him strong health, many happy returns of the day, happiness, and wellbeing.
