Lukashenko: Attempts to isolate Belarus are futile

MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – All attempts to isolate Belarus are futile, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said during his swearing-in ceremony on 6 November, BelTA has learned.

“We have always said that all the attempts to isolate Belarus, like any other countries, are a dead-end road leading to a lose-lose situation,” the Belarusian leader noted.

“It is easy to take the path of sanctions, but it will be extremely difficult to get back to normal,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
