Belarus facilitates visa regime for UAE citizens

MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – Belarus facilitates the visa regime for the citizens of the United Arab Emirates. This is envisaged in Decree No. 156 with was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 27 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The decree provides for the visa free entry and departure for the citizens of the UAE having valid passports or other documents for foreign trips issued by corresponding public bodies of the UAE.

The visa free regime also applies to the transit through Belarus and the temporary stay in the country for a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of entry into the country via international border checkpoints.

The decree specifies that the citizens of the UAE having valid passports or other documents for foreign trips can register at a place of their temporary residence provided their period of stay in Belarus does not exceed 30 days.

Temporary residence permits for the citizens of the UAE can be extended if necessary in accordance with the legislation.

The decree enters into force after its official publication.
