MOSCOW, 4 May (BelTA-TASS) – The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will convene in Russia's Sochi on 14 May. Russia President Vladimir Putin discussed preparations for the summit with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Kremlin press service noted as quoted by TASS news agency, BelTA informs.
“The sides discussed preparations for the upcoming session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council due in Sochi on 14 May 2018,” the press service said.
The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is a supranational body of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. Its decisions are legally binding for all member states. The council determines the membership and powers of the other regulatory bodies.
The EAEU includes Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia discussed preparations for the upcoming session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council due in Sochi on 14 May 2018, the press service said.
