MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Kazakhstan views the current disagreements on the way to the Eurasian Economic Union as resolvable, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council summit on 29 April, BelTA has learnt.

“I do not think we should rush the matter. There is, however, a possibility to meet the deadline and address all the issues. We can come to an agreement,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In his words, the issue highlighting today's agenda is the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty. “We are nearing the signing of the document, and I agree with what Alexander Lukashenko has just said that we have covered the bigger part of this way,” the President of Kazakhstan said. In his words, the experts worked hard and today other partners show interest in this union.

“I agree they should do all the same things we talked about from the very beginning. We respect these wishes of the countries and it is clear that our union appeals to them,” the Kazakhstani leader said.

Today the Troika is expected to discuss all the existing issues, including the disagreements on the draft Eurasian Economic Union Treaty. “At present the public attention both inside the countries and abroad is on the issue. We should consider every detail and keep to the legal aspects, interests of our states,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

According to President Nursultan Nazarbayev, there is a need to consider the priorities for the strategy. At today's meeting the troika will discuss all issues, including the differences on the draft treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. "Now the public attention, both domestically and abroad, is focused on this. We need to examine carefully and comply with all the legal aspects, the interests of our state,” said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Kazakhstan's leader expressed confidence that the parties will be able to reach a consensus on all the issues and will eventually agree to take certain decisions.
