MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Slovenian ministerial consultations were held in Minsk on 11 December, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko, the Slovenian delegation was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrej Logar.
The parties discussed the bilateral political dialogue, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Slovenia, and also the development of the legal framework of bilateral relations and cooperation in international organizations. Special attention was paid to the prospects of Belarus' dialogue with the European Union and the country's role in the EU's initiative Eastern Partnership.
The head of the Slovenian delegation also met with Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. The parties coordinated positions on the development of the Belarusian-Slovenian relations.
