MOSCOW, 27 February (BelTA) – The Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) looked into the draft list of topics for making joint statements in 2018 during the session in Moscow on 27 February, BelTA has learned.
The draft list will be forwarded to the CSTO member states for approval.
CSTO Press Secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov said that participants of the session had also discussed a draft plan for consultations between representatives of the CSTO member states on matters of foreign policy, security, and defense in H2 2018 – H1 2019. The draft document will be forwarded for intrastate approval to the CSTO member states.
The council also looked into a draft plan of measures designed to implement decisions made by the November 2017 session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the priority avenues of activities suggested by Kazakhstan for the duration of its presidency in the CSTO. Discussion about the document will continue during the next session of the CSTO Permanent Council.
