MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – The trilateral contact group promoting the peace settlement in Ukraine has resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The previous meeting of the diplomats of the OSCE, Ukraine and Russia took place in the Belarusian capital on 19 July. It was noted after the meeting that thanks to the harvest ceasefire (the regime of complete ceasefire along the contact line during the harvesting campaign from 24 June to 31 August) the intensity of gunfire has reduced, and that the work on verifying the lists of detained persons in Ukraine continues.
