MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Swiss ministerial consultations will be held in Bern on 13 December, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The Swiss delegation will be headed by Deputy State Secretary of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Krystyna Marty Lang.
The parties will discuss a wide range of issues related to the bilateral and multilateral agenda, including the bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment and other sectors, cooperation in international organizations, interaction in consular matters. The parties will also consider Belarus' cooperation with the European Union, issues of the regional and international agenda.
The program of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Switzerland will include Oleg Kravchenko's meetings with Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs, members of the Federal Council of Switzerland.
The Belarusian deputy minister of foreign affairs will also meet with students and the academic staff of the University of Bern and the University of Fribourg.
