MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia intend to come up with a common industrial policy. The statement was made by State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Grigory Rapota during the press conference held on 2 April on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Peoples of Belarus and Russia, BelTA has learned.
Work is now in progress on a document meant to determine priority avenues of development of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in 2018-2022. “Focus will be made on cooperation in the area of science and technology, in the area of industry, including the creation of a common industrial policy, the development of the agribusiness complex,” noted Grigory Rapota.
In his words, the structure of the new document will not be different from that of the previous document. The new document will only lay down new tasks and goals.
