Belarus-Poland political contacts praised

MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – Outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Belarus Konrad Pawlik paid a farewell courtesy call on Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on 19 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the talks the parties took stock of the Belarusian-Polish cooperation in 2016-2017, praised the momentum of the bilateral political contacts and parliamentary ties, and also the growth of trade between the two countries.

Vladimir Makei thanked the Polish ambassador for his contribution to the development of the Belarusian-Polish relations.

The diplomats agreed with the need to promote the climate of trust and mutual understanding between Belarus and Poland, and also enhance the quality and results of bilateral contacts.
