The Progress Vertelishki agricultural company is busy with harvesting its apples and pears. The farm gathers 50-80 tonnes of fruit a day. Some 70-80% of 2,500 tonnes harvested in the farm are stocked and sold throughout the year. Pear trees cover four hectares. There are plans to increase the area under pears by almost four times.
