The campaign We Are Citizens of Belarus! took place in all the regions of the country on 15 March to mark Belarus Constitution Day. Following the established tradition, young Belarusians received their passports from the hands of heads of legislative and executive government agencies, public figures, and other respected and honored citizens.
Presiding Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Piotr Miklashevich presented passports to talented kids from Brest Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, and Minsk.
“Today you are getting a document, which confirms your identity and the fact that you are citizens of Belarus. The state enables all the necessary conditions for your development as individuals, who can achieve success in various spheres of life. The state also takes measures to protect its citizens,” said Piotr Miklashevich.
Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich presented passports to young Belarusian citizens.
Dedicated to Belarus Constitution Day, a solemn event We Are Citizens of Belarus! took place at premises of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee on 15 March. Thirty talented young Belarusians from all over Mogilev Oblast, including exemplary students, public life activists, winners of academic excellence competitions and various contests, were invited to attend the event. Mogilev Oblast Governor Vladimir Domanevsky congratulated participants of the event on Belarus Constitution Day and presented passports to the best school students in a solemn setting.
The organizers tried to arrange events of the campaign We Are Citizens of Belarus! in places, which are of interest for school students. In particular, the regional event in Brest Oblast was held in the 38th Independent Guards Airborne Brigade. Twenty talented students from the entire region were invited to attend. Those were youth movement activists, exemplary students, winners of academic excellence competitions and various contests.
