MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone will determine the success of the Belt and Road Initiative at a global level, Vice President of the People's Republic of China Wang Qishan said as he toured the industrial park on 27 May.

Wang Qishan is on his first official visit to Belarus on 27-29 May. Upon his arrival at the National Airport Minsk on 27 May he held talks with Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov and went to the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone where he was informed about the progress of the implementation of the Great Stone project.
“The Great Stone park is crucial for the success of the Belt and Road initiative. If we succeed here, we will succeed everywhere,” Wang Qishan said as he shared his impressions of the industrial park.
He met with Head of the Administration of the park Alexander Yaroshenko and Chief Executive Officer of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company Hu Zheng. They discussed the state and prospects of the park till 2020. Wang Qishan shared his vision of the Great Stone prospects.
“It is necessary to scale up investments into the park. There are a lot of parks in China; however the Great Stone park is the only one in the world. It should be successful,” he underlined.
