Minsk to host China International Import Expo presentation on 1 February

MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – The presentation of the first Chinese international exhibition o imported goods and services China International Import Expo will take place at the Beijing Hotel in Minsk on 1 February, BelTA learned from spokeswoman for the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Inna Olshevskaya.

China International Import Expo will take place in Shanghai on 5-10 November 2018. It will be a large-scale event with different countries among its participants. “During the exhibition every participating state will be given an area to place its national pavilion for an integrated presentation of the country's trading and investing image. There will also be zones for individual stands of companies and also the organization of conferences and seminars. Belarus' exposition will be organized by the National Center for Marketing and Price Study,” said Inna Olshevskaya.

The total area of ​​China International Import Expo will be about 240,000 square meters, including 30,000 square meters allocated for national pavilions. The zone for companies' individual stands will be divided into two blocks. The trade in goods will be highlighted by six specialized exhibition sites, which will feature intellectual and high-tech equipment, household appliances, consumer goods, automotive products, agricultural and food products, medical goods and services. The trade in services will focus on the tourism sector. The exhibition is organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Shanghai with the support of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
