MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – A session of the Latvia-Belarus Business Cooperation Council will take place in Riga on 5 September within the framework of the meeting of the Latvia-Belarus intergovernmental commission for economic and sci-tech cooperation, BelTA learned from head of Belarusian Railways, co-chair of the council Vladimir Morozov.
“Taking part in the event will be representatives of the biggest businesses of the two states. The 12-point agenda of the 10th anniversary session will include cooperation in transportation and logistics, information technologies and tourism, as well as cross-border cooperation,” Vladimir Morozov said.
The Business Cooperation Council was set up for Belarusian and Latvian business people in October 2008 with a view to facilitating the implementation of investment projects in various economic sectors.
