MINSK DISTRICT, 15 June (BelTA) – A great deal of work has yet to be done in order to transform the civil engineering industry in Belarus, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin on 15 June.
The official said: “As part of the working group created at the central government level we thoroughly discuss matters of the civil engineering industry. Not only the production of construction materials but the provision of construction services in Belarus and abroad. A great deal of work has yet to be done to improve and change the construction industry. The head of state wants a report on the measures we've taken in November-December.”
The Belarusian civil engineering industry should get a new development impulse. “As one of the tasks we should create an export-oriented industry, which will be able to compete on par with other partners on the home market and foreign ones,” added the deputy prime minister.
