MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – Top Belarusian industrial companies have put their products on display during the international industrial trade fair Innoprom 2018, which is taking place in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia on 9-12 July, the press service of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Visitors are invited to see products and accomplishments of Belarusian companies in the sphere of mechanical engineering, metalworking, power engineering technologies, industrial automation, and machine tool production. The Belarusian exposition uses the Made in Belarus brand. It occupies 165m2 inside the pavilion and 81m2 for hands-on presentation of industrial products.
The Belarusian exposition is represented by the State Science and Technology Committee, MAZ, BMZ, Integral Company, BATE, Krasny Borets, Gomel Machine Tool Units Plant, the Grodno lathe chucks plant BelTAPAZ, MPZ, Gomselmash, and other companies.
Innoprom's main purpose is to pool efforts of Russian and foreign industrial companies, small and medium innovative businesses, financial institutions, government agencies, the scientific and expert communities for assimilating and commercializing new R&D products. The expo occupies 50,000m2. In 2017 over 600 companies from 20 countries took part in the trade fair. As many as 95 countries sent their trade and industry delegations to Innoprom 2017. Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Germany in addition to other countries will present their national expositions this year. The Republic of Korea is a country partner of this year's trade fair. The fair is organized every year by the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry and the Sverdlovsk Oblast government.
