MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) – Ways to expand Belarus-UK cooperation in finance and information technologies were discussed as Belarusian First Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi met with a delegation of the UK parliament, representatives of the Economy Ministry told BelTA.
During the meeting the sides discussed trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UK and potential avenues for expanding the bilateral interaction such as woodworking industry, sustainable development, finance, and information technologies.
The meeting was part of the UK parliament delegation's visit to Belarus. The visit is meant to further advance and deepen the bilateral relations.
Dmitry Krutoi informed the British MPs about the current state and prospects of Belarus' social and economic development.
