MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – In August the Belarusian Economy Ministry will undertake detailed examination of the parameters of the social and economic development forecasts of every region of Belarus in 2019, BelTA learned from the website of the Economy Ministry.
On 18-20 July the Economy Ministry held a series of meetings to examine the materials submitted by the national government bodies with regard to the draft projections of the social and economic development of Belarus in 2019. The discussions were chaired by Belarus Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky with the participation of the heads of other ministries and concerns. Taking part in the video conference were heads and representatives of the economy committees of the oblast executive committees and Minsk City Hall. The participants discussed every economic sector taking into account forecast external conditions and prospects on export markets, the potential and competitive advantages of Belarusian regions.
Vladimir Zinovsky stressed that while working out development plans for sectors the government bodies need to take into account the existing resources and growth factors and aim at achieving the parameters set in Belarus' five-year program of social and economic development for 2019.
