MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Czech Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Eduard Muricky during a working trip to Czechia on 4 October, BelTA has learned.
The sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached as a result of the tenth session of the Belarusian-Czech intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial, scientific, and technical cooperation. Representatives of Belarus and Czechia also discussed plans for organizing joint events in 2019 and further steps meant to expand the bilateral cooperation.
The Belarusian deputy minister of foreign affairs also met with Vojtech Filip, First Vice President of the lower chamber of the Czech parliament. The sides discussed the current state and prospects of advancing Belarusian-Czech interparliamentary dialogue. The sides expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation between Belarusian and Czech MPs with a focus on the implementation of economic projects.
The Belarusian deputy minister of foreign affairs also met with Chairman of the Czech-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Karpovich. The sides discussed prospects of exporting more Belarusian products to Czechia and the implementation of joint projects.
