MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) has postponed the introduction of a ban on milk import from Belarus to 18:00 on 6 March. Representatives of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry have confirmed the news for BelTA.
Earlier Rosselkhoznadzor intended to restrict the import of Belarusian milk and some other dairy products to Russia as from 26 February.
Negotiations to resolve the situation concerning the prohibition on exporting Belarusian milk to Russia took place in Moscow today. The Belarusian side was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy and Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats.
