Two-time silver medalist of the Olympic Games in London and winner of the Olympic bronze in Rio de Janeiro Aleksandra Gerasimenya gave a clinic for young swimmers at the Gomel Palace of Water Sports on 9 January. The athlete shared her intention to hold free clinics for Belarusian school children through her official page on Facebook ahead of Christmas. The first training event was held in the Gomel Palace of Water Sports. That was quite symbolic as Aleksandra Gerasimenya attended its opening ceremony in September 2013.
