Artilleryman's Day in the historical and cultural complex Stalin's Line was marked with the historical recreation of the Red Army's offensive operation Uran, which began near Stalingrad on 19 November 1942. The offensive operation began with 80 minutes of artillery bombardment. The offensive operation resulted in the destruction of two German armies and the defeat of two Romanian armies and one Italian army. The Red Army destroyed 32 divisions and three brigades and defeated 16 divisions.
