It was the third half marathon in Minsk on record. Some 30,000 runners turned up for the opportunity to run for 5.5km, 10km, and 21.1km. The Kenyan runner Hillary Kiptum Maiyo won the men's race while the Belarusian runner Lyudmila Lyakhovich won the women's race.
