The number of international observers at the upcoming presidential election in Belarus may be twice as large as the number registered on the single voting day, which took place on 25 February 2024. Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Igor Karpenko made the statement after delivering a report to Belarus President, Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko on 11 June.
