A part of a battle that took place in July 1812 between the Russian and French cavalries was reenacted at the first International Military Historic Festival Mir 2017 on 9 July. The event was held under the auspices of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, the Korelichi District Executive Committee, Belarus' military historic societies and the youth public association Intelligence.
