Yegor Sharangovich scores fifth goal in 2021/22 NHL regular season

MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – New Jersey Devils forward Yegor Sharangovich of Belarus helped his team secure a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres in the 2021/22 NHL regular season on 29 December, BelTA has learned.

Early in the final period Yegor Sharangovich assisted Jack Hughes who scored his third of the night and then the Belarusian player scored the four, winning goal. Yegor Sharangovich spent over 14 minutes on ice, produced five shots on goal and finished the match with +3. This season the Belarusian appeared in 28 matches, scored five goals and making seven assists. After 31 matches the New Jersey go 12th with 27 points.

Belarusian forward Aliaksei Protas took part in the Washington's winning match against the Nashville Predators (5-3). The Belarusian spent seven minutes on ice and made one shot. Aliaksei Protas appeared in 21 matches, scoring twice and four assists. The Washington Capitals scored 45 points in 32 games and go second behind the Tampa (46 points).
