WTA rankings: Sabalenka keeps the lead, Swiatek slips to 5th

MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka continues to lead the WTA rankings with a total of 10,683 points, despite her loss in the Italian Open quarterfinal, BelTA has learned.

Coco Gauff of the United States, the Italian Open finalist, moved up to the second position, while Jasmine Paolini of Italy, the winner of the Italian Open, occupied the fourth spot. Iga Swiatek of Poland dropped to the fifth position. Belarus’ Victoria Azarenka lost 19 spots to place 73rd, Aliaksandra Sasnovich – 107th.

WTA Top Ten:

2. Coco Gauff (USA) – 6,863 
3. Jessica Pegula (USA) – 6,243
4. Jasmine Paolini (Italy) – 5,865

Jannik Sinner of Italy tops the ATP rankings. Egor Gerasimov of Belarus goes 503rd.
