MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Head of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee Viktor Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.
"Over many years of your tenure as president of the NOC, Belarusian-Armenian relations have become dynamic and multifaceted. Today you invest a lot of effort and energy to develop the Olympic movement in Armenia, promote a healthy lifestyle and education of the younger generation of athletes,” Viktor Lukashenko said.
The head of the Belarusian NOC expressed confidence that the friendship between the two Olympic committees will become even stronger, and through joint efforts they will be able to solve large-scale tasks to popularize sport and Olympic values.
