TOKYO, 5 August (BelTA) – Iryna Zhuk of Belarus placed 8th in the Women's Pole Vault final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian cleared 4.50m in her best attempt. She tried to clear 4.70m three times but failed.
Katie Nageotte of the United States secured gold with 4.90m. Silver went to Russia's Anzhelika Sidorova (4.85m). Bronze was collected by Holly Bradshaw of the UK (4.85m).
