TOKYO, 30 July (BelTA) – Tatsiana Klimovich of Belarus finished first in the Women's Single Sculls Final C (13th-18th places) at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian clocked 7:39.53. Lovisa Claesson of Sweden finished second in 7:41.07. Third was Serbia's Jovana Arsic (7:43.30).
Tatsiana Klimovich placed 13th overall. Earlier, in Final B (7th-12th places) Belarus' men's coxless pair Siarhei Valadzko and Dzmitry Furman finished 2nd to secure the 8th place overall (6:25.88). Belarus' lightweight doubles scullers Alena Furman and Ina Nikulina clocked 6:57.84 to finish 5th in Final B and 11th overall.
