TOKYO, 5 August (BelTA) – Vanesa Kaladzinskaya of Belarus did not make it into the Women's Wrestling 53kg final and will compete for the Tokyo Olympics bronze, BelTA has learned.
The bout against Qianyu Pang of China was not rich in technical actions, but the Belarusian was more active to lead 2-0 in the first period.
The action remained the same in the first minutes after the break. Athletes tried not to risk waiting for each other's mistakes. In the last seconds the Chinese wrestler went ahead and tied the score, winning the bout by additional points.
