Tokyo 2020: Belarus 6th in women's lightweight double sculls semifinal

TOKYO, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarus' Alena Furman and Ina Nikulina failed to reach the Women's Lightweight Doubles Sculls final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusians placed 6th in the semifinal with the time of 6:54.78. Emily Craig and Imogen Grant of the UK clocked 6:41.99 to finish first. Second were Laura Tarantola and Claire Bove of France (6:42.92). Marieke Keijser and Ilse Paulis of the Netherlands were third (6:43.95).

Alena Furman and Ina Nikulina will compete for 7-12 places in Final B.
